• We expect Congress to represent us.
• We expect members to bring into the legislative process the views, needs and interests of their communities and constituents.
• We expect Congress as an institution to provide a forum where the interests and demands of all segments of society are expressed.
• Congress should pass laws that reflect the will of the people.
• Congress should pass laws that deal promptly and effectively with pressing national problems.

Unfortunately, money has corrupted our electoral process. While citizens cannot sell their votes, our elected members of Congress often do to the highest bidder.

We forget that we are a nation of immigrants. We came here to seek economic, religious and political freedom.

Nowhere in the world stand side-by-side in close proximities churches, synagogues, mosques, temples, shrines and many other places of worship. We dress and eat variety of food and represent all cultures, traditions and celebrate different festivals .

We always forget that we enjoy amenities considered standard in our country that are luxuries in other parts of the world.

No wonder why 99 percent of the world's immigrants want to come to this country to enjoy liberty and freedom.

We always forget that our rights are guaranteed by our constitution not by a specific religion that sets us apart from many countries.

To keep the American Dream alive, retain our lifestyles and continue to prosper, we must work hard together to make sure that our country remains stronger, prouder and better for us and our children for many centuries to come.
