I started my political career in 1986 and proved that I can win elections in spite of the odds. Since then, I have pursued my goal relentlessly and learned a lot.

I enjoy continued support of people that never stops and their advice is valuable to me.

My mind goes back all the way to sacrifices the American people made in 1776 to create this country.

I recall President Washington who created this country, President Lincoln who united it, and President Reagan whose leadership restored optimism to the nation and brought an end to the cold war.

I believe we owe the current prosperity of the U. S., the liberation and creation of many countries in in Central Asia & Europe, and the unification of East and West Germany, to the vision, courage and policies of President Reagan.

I had the honor and pleasure of meeting presidents Reagan and Bush in the White House 3 times on personal invitations.

During my campaigns, I am grateful to my wife Karen and children Michelle, Kevin and Anndrew, neighbors, friends, the 2000 volunteers, supporters and contributors whose support never ends, and the new friends I continue to make every day.
